Poland/ Warsaw

About This Project

Poland, in the beautiful city of Warsaw.

East European countries have always drawn my interest and I decided that Warsaw would be the first city on my list. As soon as I arrived I noticed a marvelous architecture of the recent past, a building that instantly caught the eyes. The Palace of Culture and Science. Once I saw it, I couldn’t wait anymore but to get closer and marvel at it more. I knew this could not be ignored and had to make it the first snapshot of my trip.

But of course there was so much more to discover — it felt as if one could find a part of history in every corner of the city.

I just couldn’t stop my feet from diving deeper into the city and exploring more it had to offer. Warsaw simply has a special charm and flair that inspires its visitors. It has a perfect mix of ancient and modern architecture, but also keeping its communist heritage. After appreciating the economic development and its excitement that built tall skyscrapers in the heart of the city, I continued to discover more places, collected impressions, and cherished beautiful moments that I was able to bring back home in the form of pictures.
